Since 2003, HAR Equipment Sales has assisted hundreds of customers, each year, with preventative maintenance, service, and repair of their adhesive systems. Our certified and experienced technicians are committed to providing quality service. Their technical expertise and support have allowed our customers’ production and maintenance teams to focus their efforts on other critical areas of the business.
Although our main area of expertise is ITW Dynatec equipment, we also provide services for Nordson and other competitive equipment. We repair everything from handheld hot melt guns to large, high volume, automated dispensing systems.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IT’S TIME FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE?
There are common symptoms that may indicate it’s time for preventative maintenance, service, or repair including:
- Reduced adhesive flow / output
- Char (black specs) present in dispensed adhesive or the hopper
- Irregular or degraded pump performance
- Leaking or dripping applicator / nozzle
- Adhesive leaking from the adhesive supply unit
- Applicator, hose, or supply unit not heating
THE HAR GOAL = TO GET YOU BACK UP & RUNNING
When we receive equipment for repair or service, we conduct a diagnosis of that system to determine what is required to return it to its optimal condition. Once the diagnosis is complete, we inform our customer of what is required to complete this service and the anticipated cost. Our customers typically approve the repair and we provide them with an estimated date for completion.
We conduct the majority of system repairs right at our facility, however, we can also conduct on-site support in critical situations
THE REPAIR PROCESS; WHY OUR EXPERTISE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We have repaired hundreds of systems and we have learned the problem is not always obvious. Proper diagnosis is key to a timely and cost appropriate repair. Many systems that we service have adhesive that has infiltrated parts of the equipment where it does not belong. On those occasions, our technicians begin the arduous task of cleaning and removing the adhesive, usually at high temperatures, in order to begin the repair. We have perfected a “flushing service” that allows us to get to the root of the problem. Upon completion of the repair, we conduct a quality check to ensure the system is performing optimally, before returning it to our customer.
