Paper Converting & Tube Winding

Water-based adhesive manufacturing experience combined with a practical understanding of how paper products are wound, laminated, built, dried, cut, and used.

Paper converting applications are rarely interchangeable. Paper grade, recycled content, absorption, moisture, coat weight, machine speed, compression, drying, and end-use requirements can change how an adhesive must perform.

We manufacture water-based adhesives for tube winding, cores, rings, corner board, honeycomb, paper buildup, laminating, and other converting operations. We also support hot melt and pressure-sensitive applications when the process or finished product requires them.

Our goal is not to force every application into a standard formula. It is to understand the manufacturing environment and identify a practical solution that supports production and the customer’s finished-product requirements.

Manufacturing Flexibility Matters

As a water-based adhesive manufacturer, we can do more than search a distributor catalog. We can evaluate whether an existing formulation fits the need, determine whether an adjustment may improve performance, or explore a custom product when the business opportunity justifies it.

We also understand that formulation alone may not solve the problem. Application method, coat weight, line speed, paper condition, compression, drying, and equipment control must work together.

Let’s Talk About What You Manufacture

Tell us about the product, papers, line conditions, current adhesive, production goals, and customer requirements. The more we understand about the complete process, the more useful our recommendations can be.

Why Tube, Core and Ring Manufacturers Contact HAR

  • Tubes, cores, or rings are delaminating or failing customer strength requirements.

  • Wet tack, penetration, drying time, or cutting performance is limiting production.

  • Recycled or changing paper grades are affecting winding consistency.

  • Adhesive use, cleanup, flagging, or moisture is creating unnecessary cost.

  • A customer has introduced a new specification or value-added application.

  • The manufacturer wants a flexible adhesive partner capable of adjusting or custom-formulating a water-based solution.
