Cyanoacrylates & Anaerobics
Cyanoacrylates are an acrylic resin that will rapidly polymerize in the presence of water. Anaerobics are an acrylic resin that will rapidly polymerize in the presence of air. Both are used extensively in automotive and medical device industry, where any kind of heavy equipment assembly is needed.
Hot Melt Adhesives
Hot melt adhesives are 100% solid adhesives that are heated to temperatures above their melting point and applied to at least one substrate in the molten state. These adhesives can be very rigid materials or soft "tacky" materials depending on the ingredients used which are in turn dictated by the end use of the adhesive.
Primers and Sealer
Our primers are water-based used as a sealer, stain-blocker and preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
Reactive Chemistry Adhesive
Reactive systems are high performance adhesives and offer physical properties that include high strength and flexibility, as well as excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates.
Solvent-Based Adhesive
Solvent based products are noted for their fast bond strength development, versatile adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, good heat resistance, ability to instantly bond, as well their tolerance of a wide range of production conditions, including low temperatures or high humidity.
Water Based Adhesives: Natural and Synthetic Polymer
HAR water-based adhesives are made up of materials or compounds that can be dissolved or dispersed in water, and generally these adhesives develop a bond by losing water through evaporation or penetration into the substrates.
Silicone Adhesives and Sealants
HAR offers a variety RTV (room temperature vulcanization) silicones. These silicones are a mixed inorganic and organic polymers used in sealants, coatings, adhesives, and lubricants. They provide excellent heat and water resistance, flexible industrial applications and adhere well to almost any material.
Industrial Tapes
HAR offers very specialized industrial tapes for specific bonding, masking, sealing and gasket applications. We manufacture an extremely strong and flexible masking tape that protects during a highly abrasive polymer, glass bead or sand blasting process. This unique hot melt tape can also be used as a gasket tape for difficult-to-attach surfaces We also carry 3M pressure sensitive tapes including the 3M™ VHB™ High Strength Bonding Tapes.
Greases and Other Lubricants
HAR now distributes a variety of lubricants for anti-wear and anti-seize applications in manufacturing processes. We have partnered with Total Lubricants and other manufacturers to offer a wide range of greases and other lubricants that meet or exceed application standards.
